Jimmy's Public PC secures local drives, flash drive, controls downloading of dangerous content and much more. Lock down a Windows user account. Unlike most other applications, this can be a standard user, making it much more secure. Programs that aren't permitted can be either 'locked', where a password is required to 'unlock' them, or they can be closed. Jimmy's Public PC uses advanced technigues to detect when a program opens. Unlike other similiar products, which continously scan for "bad" programs, causing high CPU levels, Jimmy's Public PC recieves and alert when the program opens, improving system performance. Jimmy's Public PC creates a virtual drive, which the users can temporarily store their data. If a dangerous file is downloaded, Jimmy's Pubic PC will automatically remove it. Once the user clicks the 'End Session' button, their tempory data will be deleted. Programs. There are many different modes a program can be set to. The most common mode is 'Normal'. The program will appear in the users start menu, and they will have access to it. There are modes to: list a program in the start menu, but a password is required to open it; to have the program autorun when the user clicks 'New Session'; to have another program be able to open this program, but not appear in the start menu. Jimmy's Public PC can have an unlimited number of administrative user accounts. Instead of typing your password each time, Jimmy's Public PC has the ability to create a logon key from a USB flash drive. Once setup, simply insert the drive when a password is requested, and the username and password will be automatically typed for you.
